An inflection point for PT?

After onboarding 3 new practices in the last 36 hours and nearly finishing The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor (thank you Kevin Rapp for the suggestion!) I wonder if the rehab world is about to enter a phase of Post-Traumatic Growth.

Being a PT is becoming harder and harder with rising tuition costs, and running a PT practice is no easier with higher staffing costs and lower reimbursement.

And it’s a profession that has not been shown the love it deserves. What other clinician do you get to spend an hour with, uninterrupted, ever!? And do that multiple times a week!?

The PTs and OTs we are blessed to serve change lives through physical changes and behavioral changes. They provide tools for patients and their caregivers that span recovery and prevention.

I’m biased by the recency of the experiences above and my personal recovery story that wouldn’t be possible without the amazing clinicians that took me from an immobile knee (and later repaired labrum) and dependent on opioids to fully functional. Without PTs like Larry, Hope, and Greg I know I wouldn’t be able to live the life I enjoy today.

The new frontier created by the Remote Therapeutic Monitoring Codes provide a platform to a better future for the Rehab industry.
SaRA Health - Stress Free RTM is here to help on that journey.
